Our Approach

A short diagnostic assessment and meeting with the Board enabled a €10 million inventory reduction target to be set for achievement within 9 months, together with improved customer service level.

Seven top facilities were addressed:

  • Analysis of structured data provided by each site
  • 1 – Week site visits and discussions
  • New part by part planning changes agreed, including kanban replenishments and vendor managed inventory
  • Changes and action plans agreed with sites. Total inventory reduction target €14m
  • Follow-up teleconference calls to check progress and pick up problems
  • Second round of site visits, plus visits to other sites
